Laura Laurens

Self-taught fashion designer based in Bogotá.

Inspired by her experience in fine arts she creates a dialogue between opposites to question and play with the idea of borders, identity, syncretism and established paradigms.
Her work is defined by a raw approach to design, textile interventions, enveloping forms, artisanal processes, and a commitment to empowering minority groups and Colombian indigenous communities.

Laurens draws from her own experiences special multidisciplinary projects to address social problems and a contemporary hybrid identity.


Liliana Sanguino

Liliana studied BA architecture in Bogotá and Dublin before settling in England to study Fashion. Liliana has been an academic for over a decade, she is based in London and currently leads the MA Menswear course at the University of Westminster.

In addition Liliana hold an MA in CPD Academic Practice in Art, Design and Communication. University of the Arts London, 2.016 and she is currently a PhD candidate 8practice based9 at Glasgow School of Art.

Having lived in the UK for 22 years Liliana is an experienced academic in fashion design, with experience in menswear, womwnswear across undergraduate and postgraduate levels with a proven record of leading programmes. Have been a consultant for Beijing Institute of Fashion & Technology and delivered workshops and lecturers internationally in China, Turkey, Mexico, Colombia and Finland.


Gulsun Metin

With a vast experience in the fashion industry for over 35 years, Gulsun has previously been lecturing at Middlesex University, Central St Martins & Norwich University. As well as hand-on experience working in design studios in the past as well as currently with designers such as Hussain Chalayan, Marios Schwab, Per Gotteson, Marlene Oddershede Bach and many others.

Gulsun also creates made-to-order pieces to her private customers from her own studio in Islington.

Her background is in Turkish high fashion and she has excellent technical knowledge in all groups of fabrics, tailoring, draping, accessories and more.


Claudia Fischer

Her background in Fine Arts, DSAP from the École des Beaux-Arts, Paris, France; mural painting restoration at ICCROM-UNESCO, Rome; oil painting restoration and furniture design in Florence, Italy, allows her approach to filmmaking through the lens of a versatile visual artist.

In the audiovisual field, Fischer works as a director, camera, screenwriter and producer of documentaries focused on the preservation of cultural memory.

Her credits include: As the Tree under the Hurricane (Ati & Mindhiwa)  and Wërapara chicas trans.


Felipe Paz

For more than 20 years he has worked in Colombia, where he has directed and produced a large number of documentary films that show the social, economic and cultural problems of the country's indigenous and peasant populations.


Manuel Alejandro Sánchez

A rural school teacher in the municipality of San Carlos. Participant in documentary and fiction film projects.

At the radio level, he has participated in projects with the National Radio of Colombia, the Truth Commission and is director of the Radio Documentaries Our America Project.


Eloisa Arcila Fernandez

Captivated by music, she grows up wondering how art and science can be integrated. Being a Sound Engineer, she is passionate about sound for the moving image.

After an MSC in Post-production and Sound Design in York - England, she returns to her hometown in order to innovate the art scene in the city. She works as a sound engineer and sound designer for different projects, including short films, documentaries, web series and VR experiences. Lately in feature films as a sound engineer and microphone operator.


Camilo Gil

Audiovisual producer and director of photography. Creative Director One Side - Production House.

Graduated from the Colombian Polytechnic University Jaime Isaza Cadavid - Television and Radio Production. Scholarship in the film diploma "From the script to the management" University of Antioquia - Ministry of Culture of Colombia and Proimágenes en Movimiento. Director of Photography: Short film “Sea of Giants”, Feature film “Grey Clouds Blow Over Green Fields”, Short film “Garden of Hope” New York – USA, Feature film “My Friend Shakespeare”, Feature film “Loladrones” Director of Restoration: Feature film “Simón el Mago”


Gloria Nancy Monsalve

Her beginnings in writing are linked to the cinema, as a co-writer of the director Víctor Gaviria in: "La vendora de Rosas", then participates in two of his productions: "La mujer del animal" and "Sosiego".

In 2016, she premiered her first feature film: “Los asombrosos días de Guillermino” ("The amazing days of Guillermino"), running as screenwriter and director.

Twice beneficiary of the Carolina Foundation scholarships, for script development, projects: "Life in spring" and "Monimbó".
She works in the writing of screenplays for commission.


Maria Alejandra Briganti

Social Communicator and Journalist from the Universidad del Norte. Graduated from the regular Editing course of EICTV - Cuba, Coordinator of the Editing Chair of said school (2012-2014).

In Cuba she edits multiple documentary short films, upon her return to Colombia she continues an extensive editing work for documentaries, among them: "Dopamine" (Natalia Imery, 2019) nominated for the Macondo Awards in 2021.

She works as a teacher at the ENACC, Coordinator of the Publishing Chair and teacher of this specialty at the EICTV.


Danniela Castro Valencia

Studied cinema at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Assistant director in several productions.

Today she is a film and television director. “La mujer de los 7 Nombres”, her first documentary feature film, was the winner for best Colombian feature film at the Cali Film Festival. Director of: “Historias Elementales”, documentary series for Canal Capital, “Vecino”; advertising campaign for the celebration of 125 years of Bavaria, "Freedom"; campaign carried out by the AVON Foundation for Women, against violence against women. Since 3 years ago she coordinates BOGOSHORTS to the board, academic component of the Bogoshorts Film Festival.


Manuela Bunch

Manuela Bunch Higuera, professional in audiovisual media, passionate about post-production and photography, executive producer with experience in agencies and post-production companies, is currently CEO of GLITCH STUDIO.


Juan Pablo Nieto

Juan Pablo Nieto Otálora has 10 years of experience in the audiovisual medium, he began as a commercial editor and post-producer at Rhayuela Films and The Swan has participated in commercials, documentaries and television series; he is currently director of post-production at GLITCH STUDIO.

GLITCH STUDIO: Creative animation and audiovisual post-production space founded in Bogotá in 2017.


Santiago Lozano

Degree in Composition, Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia.

He made several specializations in Berlin, Rome and Madrid. Composer, performer, sound designer and currently a teacher of academic and popular musical composition. His interests focus on the interaction with various forms of art: theater, dance, plastic arts and cinema, and the use of new technologies as instruments of expression. His compositions have been performed in a dozen countries and he has composed soundtracks for award-winning films at various festivals.


Camilo Montilla

Sound producer specialized in music production, audio design for image, post-production and mixing for film, TV and video, manager of the company Productora Sonica, a sound services company in Colombia.

He has worked on more than 30 feature films, doing 5.1 mixing, sound design, original music and sound supervision. He has a background of more than 20 years making music, sound design and audio post in commercials.

Sonica Management and is mainly responsible for production in the studios and executive management in the film and TV market.


Maria Fernanda Barrientos

She has been producing cinema in Colombia for more than 10 years. Upon returning from her university film studies in France, she worked as an advertising producer and on short films, such as “Rodri” by Franco Lolli.

In 2011 she joined Diaphragma Fábrica de films with whom she produced "Mateo" by María Gamboa, "Tierra en la lengua" by Rubén Mendoza, among others.

In 2014 she created her company Corte Films, with whom she co-produced "La Bronca", by Daniel and Diego Vega (Peru-Canada-Colombia), and César Heredia's debut feature "Salvador" and participated in the premiere of "Ati & Mindhiwa" by Claudia Fischer. She is developing several women's projects, working in the production of TV series and as a production teacher at various film schools in Colombia.


Richard Battye

Richard was born in Yorkshire England, Studied the performing arts in London and where he has worked as a performer and practicioner since 1.994.

Alongside Liliana Sanguino he opened “The george & Dragon” in 2002 followed by “The Queen Adelaide” in 2.015, both located in East London, both queer spaces. His theatre company “The LipSinkers” has been at the hearth of London´s alternative cabaret scene since 2.005 and has toured internationally.


Erwin Goggel

Graduated in Scenography at the "Schauspiel Akademie", Zurich, Switzerland. Produces and directs the fiction feature film: "Hilo de retorno". Produced the feature films: "La vendedora de rosas", "La voz de las alas", "Buscando a Miguel", "Retratos en un mar de mentiras".

Produced and directed documentaries such as: "Del Palenque de San Basilio", "Cómo poner a actuar pájaros", Una propuesta inédita. Produced the medium-length films: "Al margen", "Lucero siempre me espera", "Maromas", "Balada de la primera muerte", "Amanecer", "Colombia país en marcha", "Pepos", "Buses", "Arturo Navarrete", "Abstinencia", "El curandero de Cocalito", "Agua ardiente", "Bochinche en el barrio arriba", "A 300 metros retén", "Mineros".

He is dedicated to social work and reforestation.

Technical team

The technical team was not always together nor was it the same during shooting the documentary.

There were 5 stages: Claudia shot the first two stages, one in Karmata Rua, Colombia and the other in London. Claudia, Felipe and Manuel Alejandro filmed the third stage in Medellín. Felipe and Manuel Alejandro filmed the fourth stage in Karmata Rua. And the fifth and last stage was shot again in Karmata Rua with Claudia, Gloria Nancy, Eloisa and Camilo Gil.
